On behalf of the British Congenital Cardiac Association (BCCA) we are delighted to invite you to join us at the BCCA Annual Scientific Meeting 2024 which is being held in Dublin, a warm and welcoming city packed with culture and creativity. This year’s conference will take place on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th November 2024 at The Helix, Dublin.

The BCCA regularly attracts over 300 delegates with an interest in adult and paediatric congenital cardiology from across the UK, as well as an increasing number of international delegates.  Attendees will be representatives of a number of Cardiac associations, including The British Congenital Cardiac Association (BCCA), The Paediatricians with Expertise in Cardiology Special Interest Group (PECSIG), Congenital Cardiac Nurses Association (CCNA), British Adult Congenital Cardiac Nurses Association (BACCNA), Congenital Cardiac Anaesthesia Network (CCAN) and the British Congenital Cardiac Physiologists (BCCP), as well as non-affiliated healthcare professionals including; Congenital Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Paediatric Cardiac Nurses, Cardiac Physiologists and Clinical Scientists.

This year, the BCCA will be organised by an All-Ireland committee across Belfast and Dublin with a focus on innovation and standardised care.

The British Congenital Cardiac Association Conference (BCCA) 2024 has been awarded 6 BSE points (3 per day of the conference).

RCPCH has approved the Paediatricians with Expertise in Cardiology Specialist Interest Group (PECSIG) Study Day for CPD in accordance with the current guidelines.

The BCCA Annual Scientific Meeting 2024 has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 11 category 1 (external) CPD credit(s).


The College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (CAI) has awarded the CCAN programme 6.5 CPD points.
